“God has done more than we could have hoped for and dreamt of in this Church!"
Marco and Catherine Broccardo came to the United States to plant a church but the Lord had a different plan in place! In late 2018 Jeremy and Ashley Self were both faithfully leading this beautiful church, and they felt the Lord was moving them into a new season of their lives. After much prayer, they sensed God telling them that Marco and Cat were brought here by the Lord to take the reigns of leadership.
Our Journey is filled with GRACE!
If there is one word that best describes our Journey to this point, it is GRACE: God’s unearned favor towards the unworthy. Grace is a free gift and, therefore, nothing is owed in return. A gift costs the receiver nothing but costs the giver everything.
Once we receive a gift it is permanent and it cannot be taken away! The giver becomes poorer so the recipient can become richer. But God is infinitely gracious and His supply never ends! This generous and voluntary exchange from the giver to the recipient is visible in 2 Corinthians 8:9.
You know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake, he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.
Grace does not stop once we are saved; God is gracious to us for the rest of our lives, working to sustain us and empower us to His service. We are all alive by Grace!
Our Journey is filled with HOPE!
At some point, we were all lost. But then, by grace, we saw that there was Hope for us to be restored, to find our purpose, to feel loved, to be forgiven, and to have our broken hearts healed and made whole again. We find great hope in the truth of Romans 8:28.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Knowing that God has a purpose in all of our pain and triumphs gives us great Hope. He is the Rock we cling to when the waves crash over our lives. He alone is our salvation! We shall not be shaken because the Grace of God daily poured into our lives through Christ gives us great Hope!
“For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah”
